A project built on sustainability principles
The Rudná Science Park blends harmoniously with nature, featuring eco-friendly buildings with green roofs and extensive greenery separating the area from the motorway. The landscape is enriched with pastures, wildflower meadows, a butterfly garden, a wildlife forest and herb fields, creating an almost continuous green space.

Nature within the Science Park
The architectural and landscape design of the Rudná Science Park is carefully planned to blend harmoniously with nature. Eco-friendly buildings with green roofs will seamlessly integrate into the surroundings without disrupting the natural landscape. A dense belt of mature greenery will further separate the area from the motorway. The space will transition into open countryside with wildflower meadows and other natural elements, including a sheep pasture, a butterfly garden and a wildlife forest. A bird’s-eye view tells the whole story – virtually all you see is lush green vegetation.
Environment
Special attention is given to water management and energy self-sufficiency, thanks to photovoltaic power plants. To minimize the built-up area, most parking will be located underground. The site will also feature its own wastewater treatment plant with a capacity sufficient to partially serve the neighbouring municipality of Drahelčice. This will ease the burden on Rudná’s wastewater treatment plant and improve the quality of local watercourses.
